I take back the wedding date :-(
We've decided that there is just not enough time to get the wedding organised by December. It is not a great month coz of Christmas holidays - most people have plans with their own family, it's a pretty hot time of year and we're competing with Christmas parties for a venue... so, we though we'll postpone it to 2005.
Scott suggested that we elope then just have some sort of 'celebration' dinner next year where we could watch our wedding tape or maybe renew our vows. I understand - we both want to be married already! But I really want to be married with all my family present, so we're gonna have to wait 'til next year...
Positives of this is that we're not so rushed into making a decision. We can also pick a good month for wearing formal clothes - maybe around March/April or Sept/Oct - classic 'peak' wedding periods but really are good times of the year, weather/scenary wise. (Except for that hail storm today :-)
September is probably my preference... I love all the beautiful, blossoming flowers at this time of year. The weather is still cool and starting to get a little warm...
*sigh* anyway, I better get to bed already :-)
