Boulevard Gardens - Wedding and Function Centre
Scott and I took a look at Boulevard Gardens today... definitely a contender for our wedding venue dollars :) It's pretty well priced (quoted $63 per person for a Friday night package) and has some great spots for photos. Their food looks impressive (haven't tasted it yet though) and the owner, Alex, says the serving sizes are generous. They come well recommend and even won the 2004 Australasian Bridal Industry Award for Best Reception Centre.
Speaking of ABIA awards, another venue we are considering (but yet to look at) is Maleny Manor which won the 2004 ABIA for Best Ceremony venue... it does looks pretty special.
Next Friday/weekend we plan to check out Beenleigh Yatala Motor Inn, Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens, and Comfort Inn Robertson Gardens.
Maleny Manor was way out of our budget... still looking forward to checking out the other venues this weekend though. I really like the look of Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens.
