Engagement news!
No, not about mine... one of my best friends back home, Cathy, recently got engaged to Marc, her boyfriend of 5 years - Congratulations you two! And they're not mucking around with the planning - engaged January 19 this year, their wedding will be on October 25 in Port Douglas, North Queensland.
Also planning a wedding is my younger cousin Evita (my mum's sister's daughter). Evita lives in Sydney and is getting married on November 25 in Woollongong. My mum, my brother, another cousin (my mum's other sister's son) and I plan to be there to share her day. Congrats Evita to you and your fiance, Peter! I look forward to seeing you then :-)
