About Malessa
Malessa Korotnicki originally came from Cairns and moved to Brisbane to study in 1997. She has been working as a Web developer even before completing her degrees in Information Technology and Multimedia, and is currently employed by the Department of Child Safety.
Malessa enjoys reading, animated movies, chocolate ice-cream, Les Mill classes, and praising God.
About Scott
Scott Brisbane has lived in Brisbane all his life. He completed his Multimedia degree in 2000 and worked as a Web developer for almost two years. He currently manages Webporter part-time while studying Theology at the Brisbane College of Theology.
Scott enjoys theologising, apologetics, gaming, and web hosting.
How we met
We met in early 1997 during our first year of uni, while we were both studying Information Technology at Griffith University. We started "going out" in May that year.
The proposal
On December 9, 2001 (four and a half years later) Scott proposed while we were at an early Christmas lunch with his family.
The Wedding
On April 2, 2005 (another three and half years later!) we finally got married before our friends and family at Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens in Brookfield, Brisbane.
